Storage
- Keep your slime sealed in its original jar between uses — an airtight seal is what keeps it from drying out.
- Store at room temperature, out of direct sunlight and away from heating vents or radiators.
- Avoid freezing or refrigerating — extreme cold can change the texture.
Handling
- Wash hands before and after play for the best texture and cleanest color.
- Keep slime away from carpet, fabric, and hair — it's much easier to prevent than to remove.
- Play on a smooth, easy-to-clean surface.
- Adult supervision is recommended for younger children.
Keeping It Fresh
- Reseal the lid fully right after each use.
- A gentle knead before charging helps distribute the glow evenly through the batch.
- If a batch ever looks or smells different than expected, stop use and reach out to us — every batch is handmade, but that's not something that should happen.
Fixing Over-Activated Slime
Add a little too much activator and your slime turned firm or rubbery? Totally normal — it happens to everyone, and it's an easy fix.
- Add Pure Vegetable Glycerine, one teaspoon at a time.
- Knead it in. The slime will break apart a little at first — that's normal. Keep kneading until the glycerine is fully mixed in and the slime reforms back together.
- Check the softness and stretch, then repeat with another teaspoon as needed until it feels right again.
Went a little too far the other way and it's now too sticky or soft? One or two sprays of activator will cut the stickiness and tighten the stretch back up. Warming the slime in your hands also loosens it up and increases stretch.
Glow strength depends on how thoroughly the slime is charged. Natural variations in color, texture, and decorative elements may occur between handmade batches. Slime is not edible.
